There have been whispers through the Napa Valley, that The Joy Luck House on Jordan Lane, has not only been sold but is getting a makeover. After more than 16 years of servicing this region, Endsight is excited to announce this will be our new home in the Napa Valley.
From this Facebook post, we can see a few folks are concerned about the renovation. Over the years, we have rented office space in Napa and St Helena, and our love for this community is what drew us to purchasing The Joy Luck House. It was vacant for many years and we are thrilled to be the company that gets to bring new life to it! Though the state of the world might have changed since buying the building, our goal of creating an environment where our clients and community can thrive has not.
Some people might think that it is crazy to invest in a new building at this time. However, this investment was not a spur of the moment decision. This process started in February 2019, and we have been patiently waiting for the plans and permits to be approved. This office will provide stability to our local clients and employees as we will have more physical and financial control over our office space.
When asked if our plans for the building have changed due to COVID, our CEO, Mike Chaput, responded, "I have gone back and forth on this a hundred times, but we are not going to change our plans for this workspace. If COVID is still an issue when the building is move-in ready, we will limit how many people can work in the building and spread out desks. We prefer to have people work from home rather than have our employees in a densely populated space."
This building has been a long time coming, but taking the long view is a core value at Endsight, and it is finally time to turn that dream into reality.
